Responding to your customers' wishes
The majority of flowers and plants are auctioned on trolleys. But if your customers are exporters who want to transport your plants directly to their customers, then auctioning with CC-containers is more efficient. Your customers do not have to transfer the products. Auctioning with CC-containers is possible at the Aalsmeer, Naaldwijk and Eelde locations.
Auctioning with CC-containers is done in clusters. You pay one
lot levy for the 'sample trolley'. For each associated
CC-container, you pay a surcharge of €1 on top of the trolley levy.
For the 'sample trolley' you pay only the trolley levy.
If Royal FloraHolland has to transfer the products to another trolley because you did not follow the guidelines, then we charge a fee of €20 per CC-container.
When auctioning with CC-containers, only a 'sample trolley' appears at the clock. The lead CC-container and the linked CC-containers remain in the deployment area. The sample trolley and the CC-containers together form a CC-cluster. The auctioneer can sell the sample trolley in several transactions. The CC-containers are sold individually.
If you want to auction your plants on CC-containers, it is important to comply with the following checklist closely:
