Royal FloraHolland is implementing a new Warehouse Management System (WMS), which offers digital insight into the position of your load carrier within the logistic process as well as the required service provision.
The WMS roll-out will be implemented in phases. Mid-July 2019, we will start with goods receipt and inspection for clock and direct trade supply in Naaldwijk. Rijnsburg and Aalsmeer will follow in August and September.
Standardization and digitization will lead to new service provision
Royal FloraHolland wishes to be and remain a major service provider in the floriculture industry. To enable new logistics services in the future it will be necessary to replace our logistics systems with state-of-the-art equipment. Therefore, we are digitizing and standardizing the logistic processes in Naaldwijk, Aalsmeer and Rijnsburg. Regardless of which location will assist you, our logistics approach will be the same everywhere.
What will you notice about the implementation of WMS?
The supply regulations will not change, but we will enforce them more strictly. You can help us to improve the reliability of our service provision by complying with the supply regulations. Our entry inspection will be more efficient and you will avoid repair costs. Upon receipt, we will determine exactly what you deliver and whether the digital information matches the physical lot. What are the consequences if we need to resolve any faults?
All noted deviations and repairs are registered digitally. You will receive feedback through text message and email. However, these extra actions cost time and money. From mid-July we will charge repair costs in order to ensure a fair division of costs within the cooperative. Do you still need to register for the feedback service?
Are you inconvenienced?
During the implementation people will be present on the floor. Should you still be inconvenienced, we will remedy the problem as quickly as possible. You can report this by phone to our Customer Service.
