Already more than 2,500 orders via FloraMondo customer accounts01 August 2018
Since the beginning of July, FloraMondo has had a new function: customer accounts. Buyers can use them to give their customers direct access to the online trade platform. So far, 2,500 orders have been placed with 80 customer accounts in FloraMondo.
Buyers are aware of the added value of this new function in FloraMondo. Thomas Plukaard of IBH Export is one of them and explained, "In the past month we have been allowed to test a new function in the online trade platform, called customer accounts. They performed well. With the customer accounts our customers can review the clock supply and buy directly online via Clock Presale or Direct Sales. This saves me a huge amount of time. We set a limit in consultation with the customers so they cannot buy too much, and they keep an overview."
Implementing price surcharges
In the near future, we shall continue developing customer accounts in FloraMondo. For example, buyers indicated that they would like to implement price surcharges. Their customers see the sum that they will be charged for their orders in FloraMondo. We intend to realise this request. Buyers will determine themselves whether they wish to add this or not. For their customers we shall make this situation clear with a message that appears on their marketplace screen.
