Regional meetings: Membership and rate structure and Floriday were topics of discussion07 December 2017
More than 700 members attended the regional meetings held in November 2017. The agenda included the final proposal for the new membership and rate structure and the progress booked with the digital platform Floriday.
After a detailed explanation of the membership and rate proposal, space was created for discussion. Here is a small sample of the questions and comments that arose:
- What is happening with the costs for the smaller clock growers?
- How are we going to maintain a wide-ranging assortment?
- Good implementation is important
- Royal FloraHolland must ensure the continued use of the clock
Are you curious about the FAQ and their answers?
At the GMM on 7 December 2017, you will have a chance to vote on the proposal. Naturally, there will be an opportunity to ask questions.
Floriday: the progress
The form of the platform is becoming increasingly clear. Members recognise the direction of development and see that Floriday will help growers and the sector to realise the strongest possible digital marketplace. During the discussion some members expressed their opinion that the development could go faster, and we should have started earlier to be where we are now.
Member sessions from 2018
The regional meetings were organised for the last time in this format. From 2018 the Members' Council pilot will play a central role in organising member sessions.
