Turkish market parties very interested in Dutch horticultural sector29 November 2017
The Turkish economy is growing. In 2017 the growth amounted to over 8%. The difficult political situation is not preventing Turkish market parties from increasing the sales of Dutch horticultural products. This creates opportunities. That is why Turkish and Dutch sector parties are discussing setting up new production areas in Turkey. We are playing the coordinating and facilitating role.
We want to bind new purchasing power to the ecosystem of Royal FloraHolland as part of our commercial strategy. Turkey offers enormous opportunities. So the Turkey/Eurasia team is organising various activities to strengthen the binding between Royal FloraHolland and Turkish market parties. For example, a business relations event, networking at the international Eurasia Plant Fair & Flower Show, and a study trip for internationally oriented growers. It formed a successful week during which we took new, concrete steps towards binding and developing the purchasing power in Turkey/Eurasia.
