Grower's minimum price in EDF16 February 2016
In your EDF you can enter your individual grower's minimum price via the price segment.
The V10 code that has been used as a temporary solution will be removed on 1 March 2016.
What is the grower's minimum price?
With the grower's minimum price, growers gain more control over their sales via the clock. This innovation can contribute to an optimal and more stable price-setting. The growers set a minimum price for their product. If the clock selling price falls below the minimum price, then the product is withdrawn.
The use of a grower's minimum price operates on an individual basis. You determine yourself whether to make use of it or not. If you do not enter a grower's minimum price in your EDF, then the standard minimum price applies. It is possible to enter a grower's minimum price at the export clocks in Aalsmeer, Naaldwijk and Rijnsburg and at the florists' clock in Naaldwijk. It is not yet possible at the florists' clock in Eelde.
Royal FloraHolland 2020: The New Auctioning
To keep the clock up to date, the auction process must be constantly renewed. This requires both a short- and a long-term approach. What it will look like in the long term is determined by the realisation of the New Auctioning programme within the Royal FloraHolland 2020 strategy. It is necessary to start implementation of improvements in the clock this year. The grower's minimum price is one component of that modernisation.
Consult your software supplier if you do not know where to find the price segment in your EDF.
