What can we all do to prevent multi-use plastic flower packaging from being covered in glitter and paint?06 December 2016
Now that the Christmas supply has reached its peak, we are finding increasing amounts of glitter and paint on multi-use plastic flower packaging. This is not permitted. What can we all do to prevent this from happening?
After all, our packaging washing machines cannot always remove all the glitter and paint. This means that the next users receive dirty packaging, which is a significant source of irritation. If you use glitter and/or paint on your products, lend a hand and read the following tip on preventing them from dirtying our packaging.
Place treated products in packaging when dry
Allow treated products to first dry before placing them in the packaging. This will prevent glitter and paint from dirtying the packaging.
For completeness' sake, we refer you to the General Packaging Terms and Conditions, Article 3, part 6: "Seller, Buyer and/or Transporter may not change the appearance, stick anything on or color the Packaging or otherwise add any markings, symbols or names, other than how and where Royal FloraHolland allows them to do so."
