To improve the quality of trolleys together07 September 2016
A defective trolley can cause trouble for you as a user and for Royal FloraHolland. Therefore, please label any defective trolleys with a yellow 'defect' label.
The approx. 256,000 trolleys are the most important logistics carriers for plants and flowers at Royal FloraHolland. They are used intensively, which requires frequent maintenance and the occasional repair. A defective trolley can disrupt the entire logistics process. And all of us would rather avoid that situation! Royal FloraHolland wants to improve the quality of the trolleys. Are you willing to help us?
Yellow 'defect' label on defective trolley
Is the triangle on the trolley not working? Or does the trolley have bent shelves? Then hang a yellow 'defect' label on the defective trolley. The yellow 'defect' labels can be found in the arrival area at all locations. It looks like this:
Affix the label through the lock plate holder. This makes the defective trolley clearly recognisable. Royal FloraHolland will then take the defective trolley to the workshop for repair. What do you do if you have found a defective trolley, but there are no 'defect' labels available? Please inform a Royal FloraHolland staff member.
Do not remove fixed shelves from trolleys
A standard trolley has three fixed shelves (also called trays), which can be positioned at a range of heights. Unfortunately, the number of fixed shelves that are removed and then used in other trolleys is increasing greatly.
This has led to high repair costs to fix the serious damage to the shelves and restore the safety cables. It is not permitted to remove fixed shelves from the trolley. Please help us to avoid these unnecessary costs.
