False or reused RFID labels
To exclude false or reused RFID labels, Royal FloraHolland has taken the following measures.
Direct check of commercial flows
Royal FloraHolland checks CC containers (Clock & Connect Logistics) at the auction for the presence of valid labels. If a container has a false and/or reused label, Royal FloraHolland replaces it and records this event in the Registration system along with the accompanying delivery form number. If there is an excessively large number of false and/or reused labels, Royal FloraHolland can decide to return the CC containers afterwards without a label to the user.
Collection at depot
All CC containers are scanned upon collection for the presence of valid labels. If there is one false or reused label, Royal FloraHolland replaces it and records this event in the registration system as part of the collection transaction. The false and/or reused label is visible on the collection ticket and the transaction statement. If a container lot is turned in which has an excessively large number of false labels in Royal FloraHolland's judgement, the lot (or part of it) will not be accepted by Royal FloraHolland. In conformance with its policy, the false and/or reused labels of the rejected containers are removed and confiscated. The false and/or reused labels are not registered in the transaction statement because the containers were rejected.
Royal FloraHolland subsequently carries out an administrative
check for the submission of false and reused labels. If it becomes
evident that deliveries or supply in commercial flows has an
excessively large number of false and/or reused labels, Royal
FloraHolland will contact the user and request that action be taken
to prevent a recurrence. If this request is not complied with,
Royal FloraHolland will deduct the CC containers from the balance
(through a depot dispatch). Royal FloraHolland removes the false
labels in that case and confiscates them. The user will then be
asked to collect the containers without a label.
Forwarding false and reused labels
Royal FloraHolland sends all replaced and confiscated labels for examination to Container Centralen in Denmark. Through investigation and analysis, Container Centralen attempts to trace who is circulating the false labels on the market. If Container Centralen considers it necessary, it will take legal steps against the transgressors.
CC container statements
The registration of the balance of false and/or reused labels is done in three places: The transaction ticket (upon collection), the transaction statement (weekly) and on myfloraholland.com (real time). The balance of false and/or reused labels does not represent actual CC containers, only the number of labels that were replaced. The intention of this balance is to determine at the customer level the proportion of containers turned in with false or reused labels. If Royal FloraHolland feels that too many false and/or reused labels have been turned in, it will contact the customer and take measures if necessary as described under 'Indirect check'.
Royal FloraHolland never charges for replacing and/or removing labels.
